As you could probably guess by the progression of Kurt Vonnegut quotes I’ve posted recently, I just finished reading Galapgos. The main thrust of that book is that humans largely get into trouble due to their big brains working against them.

So, Merlin posted some wanky guitar music (thankfully at least the relatively tasteful acoustic stuff, not going straight for the Malmsteen/Satriani crackpipe), and the point was raised that this sort of guitar explosion stuff is totally “boy music”.
